Daily Cleaning
- Remove the brew funnel.
- Clear any particles and residue from the brew funnel tip and screen.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the brew funnel.
- Reassemble the brew funnel.
- Place the ON/OFF or Selector switch in the "OFF" position.
- Remove the sprayhead and clear the holes of any obstruction.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the sprayhead and the sprayhead panel (the area above the brew funnel).
Weekly Cleaning
- Insert the deliming spring into the sprayhead fitting until no more than an inch is visible. Move in and out 5 or 6 times. Repeat this step in the air vent hole (near the sprayhead fitting).
- Reattach the sprayhead.
- Twist the faucet shank nut in a clockwise direction and remove the faucet from the reservoir.
- Thoroughly clean the entire inside and outside surfaces of the reservoir and the faucet shank with a brush using a mild detergent-and-water solution. Rinse the reservoir and faucet shank with warm water.
- Disassemble the faucet.
- The faucet cleaning and sanitizing procedure requires a 3-compartment sink.
- Thoroughly wash all faucet parts in a mild detergent-and-water solution in the first sink.
- Rinse the parts in hot water in the second sink.
- Sanitize the parts by soaking for one minute in 75°F warm chlorine solution (at least 50 ppm) in the third sink.
- Reassemble the faucet and attach it to the brewer.
DO NOT KEEP BREWED BEVERAGES OVERNIGHT. NEVER HOLD ICED TEA AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR MORE THAN 8 HOURS.
